OfferRoster ("we," "us," "our") is an HVAC recruiting platform currently in active development, based in Richmond, Virginia. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website at offerroster.com or sign up for our waitlist.
What We Collect
When you join our waitlist, we may collect the following information depending on what you choose to provide:
- Email address (required)
- Your name (optional)
- Experience level — for HVAC technicians (optional)
- What brings you here — your interest level (optional)
- Company name — for company signups (optional)
- Hiring timeline — for company signups (optional)
- Signup type — whether you signed up as a technician or a company
We also automatically collect basic analytics data through our hosting provider (Netlify), which may include IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Add you to our waitlist and send you launch updates about OfferRoster
- Understand our audience — how many techs vs. companies are interested, experience levels, and hiring timelines
- Communicate with you about early access, beta testing, and product development
- Improve our website and product based on aggregate patterns
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
When We Launch: Platform Privacy
When OfferRoster launches as a live platform, technician anonymity will be a core product feature. Specifically:
- Technician profiles will contain no name, no employer, and no personal contact information
- Profiles will be identified only by an anonymous ID number
- Technicians will be able to block specific employers from viewing their anonymous profile
- A technician's real identity will never be revealed to a company unless the technician explicitly accepts that company's offer
We will update this privacy policy with full platform-specific terms before launch.
Data Storage and Security
Waitlist form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, our hosting provider, which uses industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL). We do not store payment information — we do not currently collect any payment data.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information — request removal from our waitlist at any time
- Unsubscribe from any emails we send — every email will include an unsubscribe link

Email Communications
By joining our waitlist, you agree to receive occasional emails about OfferRoster launch updates. We will not send unsolicited marketing, sell your email address, or share it with recruiters. Every email will include an unsubscribe option. We comply with CAN-SPAM Act requirements.
Third-Party Services
Our website currently uses the following third-party services:
- Netlify — website hosting and form processing (Netlify Privacy Policy)
- Google Fonts — web font delivery (Google Privacy Policy)
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising tools.
Children's Privacy
OfferRoster is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy as OfferRoster develops. If we make significant changes, we will notify waitlist members by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
