Terms of Service
Last updated: July 14, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and OfferRoster ("OfferRoster," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Richmond, Virginia. They govern your access to and use of the OfferRoster platform, websites, and services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company to these Terms.
1. What OfferRoster Is
OfferRoster is a reverse-recruiting marketplace for the skilled trades. Verified companies browse anonymous, credential-verified technician profiles and send job offers that include pay and benefits up front. A technician's identity remains private until the technician chooses to accept an offer. OfferRoster is a platform that connects companies and technicians; we are not an employer, staffing agency, or party to any employment relationship formed between them.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.
- Accounts are reviewed before activation. We may decline, suspend, or terminate any account at our discretion, including for inaccurate information or violations of these Terms.
3. Technicians
- OfferRoster is free for technicians.
- We verify credentials by hard checks only — for example, confirming certification and license numbers against the relevant boards. We do not perform criminal background checks or employment-history verification; those remain the responsibility of the hiring company.
- Your identity, contact information, and current employer are not shown to companies. Your identity is shared with a company only when you accept that company's offer.
- OfferRoster does not guarantee that you will receive offers, interviews, or employment.
4. Companies
- Companies must be vetted and hold an active subscription to browse technicians and send offers.
- Every offer must include a genuine pay range and the benefits offered. You receive a technician's name and contact information only after that technician accepts your offer.
- You agree to use technician information solely to evaluate and pursue the specific hiring opportunity, and to comply with all applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and privacy laws. You will not resell, redistribute, or scrape profile data.
- Hiring decisions, employment terms, background checks, and onboarding are solely between you and the technician. OfferRoster charges no success fees or per-hire fees.
5. Subscriptions, Billing & Renewals
Company access is sold as a subscription. Current plans:
- Monthly — $499/month with a 3-month minimum commitment. The first three months ($1,497) are billed at checkout; the recurring $499/month then begins after a 14-day free trial period and continues month to month.
- Annual — $4,990/year, billed once at checkout.
By subscribing, you authorize OfferRoster and our payment processor to charge your payment method for the applicable fees, including automatically recurring charges when your subscription renews, until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which you are responsible for. We may change our prices with at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect on your next renewal.
6. Free Trial
New company subscriptions may include a 14-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, the recurring subscription charge will not begin. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for how upfront and trial amounts are handled.
7. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel a subscription at any time; access continues through the end of your current paid period. How cancellations, minimum commitments, and refunds are handled is described in full in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or impersonate any person or company;
- Attempt to identify, contact, or de-anonymize a technician outside the offer process;
- Use the Service to violate any law, or to discriminate against any person in violation of applicable law;
- Scrape, copy, resell, or redistribute data from the Service, or attempt to circumvent access controls, rate limits, or security measures;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding user-provided data), is owned by OfferRoster and protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain rights to the information you submit, and you grant us a limited license to use it to operate and provide the Service.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that credential checks are infallible, or that any hiring or employment outcome will result from use of the Service.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OfferRoster will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to OfferRoster in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold OfferRoster harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party — including any dispute between a company and a technician.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to venue there.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we will provide notice — for example, by email or by posting on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
